Today's featured software is Geosetter (from www.geosetter.de/en/), PC software designed to geotag photos. A whole batch of photos can be geotagged at once using (eg) a gpx file from a mobile app such as My Tracks, a journey recorder from Google. Geosetter uses the timestamps in the photo EXIF data to match the positions in the gpx file (need to ensure the camera clock is set correctly). It also allows individual photos to be geotagged manually by placing a pin on a Google map, so it's easy to geotag photos prior to upload to flickr.
